Duties of the position of psychologist:

In order to determine their compliance with the criteria of youth development, the psychologist conducts a psychological examination of university students and determines their levels. Diagnoses the professional suitability of students, examines their personality traits, willpower, emotions, self-control, and intellectual level;

A psychologist studies the psychological characteristics of professors and students, their interests, aptitudes, talents, etc., and helps them to become specialists and mature individuals.

Diagnoses the causes of defects in the acquisition of academic skills and skills, defects in behavior, intellectual development and personality disorders.

examines students to learn how they interact with their peers. Adapts psychophysiological methods to specific conditions, taking into account their ethnocultural characteristics.

together with specialists from other fields, performs differential diagnosis, taking into account the variety of defects in the mental development of the student. In particular:

· a) determines the medical and defectological nature of defects;

· b) determines the causes and forms of antisocial behavior;

· v) examines the socio-psychological roots of vices such as drug addiction, taxi addiction, alcoholism, theft, filthiness among students, and analyzes its factors;

· mental development and psychocorrection work - the direction of the psychologist actively influences the process of forming the personality and intellect of students, professors and teachers.

In this direction, the psychologist performs the following specific tasks:

· a) the special work of a practical psychologist, training sessions that can be conducted separately with some students are planned;

· b) each activity of the students is carried out specifically and is directed to the educational impact on student groups;

· v) it is envisaged to conduct trainings in the form of educational events for parents and pedagogical teams with the participation of university employees.

· the university psychologist develops and implements a program of gradual correction and correction of students' mental development, behavioral defects, and deficiencies. For this purpose, they conduct special trainings, exercises to reduce disruption, conduct trainings to develop creative abilities.
