Duties of the Center for Digital Education Technologies:

• Provides timely notification of emerging threats to information security at the Higher Education Institution, as well as consulting services on information protection;

• organizes and supervises the management of the "Electronic Education" national network;

• Controls the correct operation of existing computer technology programs at the HEI;

• organizes maintenance and repair of computers;

• supervises the work of computer operators;

• Increasing the computer reserve of HEIs to the account of modern computers and improving the existing computers;

• Monitors the functioning of Internet networks, (Ye-mail) e-mail services at OTM at the level of demand, monitors the timely reception and distribution of messages and news;

• supervises the operation, maintenance and inspection of the copying machines of the OTM;

• Leads all activities of the Higher Education Institution on e-learning and establishes contact with local and foreign higher educational institutions on the organization of e-learning;

• Enters and analyzes total information on the portal to the OTM local network;

• ensures information security of information system resources and databases in a higher education institution;

• analyzes the methods and tools used in the analysis and identification of law breakers, in the implementation of unauthorized or disruptive actions in the information space;

• the ministry undertakes not to give information containing undisclosed (confidential) information in the information facilities to a third party without the employer's permission and to keep the information in full;

• develops international cooperation in the field of information security in order to organize mutual practical work on the prevention of information security incidents in the national segment of the Internet network;

• develops annual and semi-annual work plans of the center;

• approves the work plans of the leading Center staff;

conducts a quarterly internal meeting of the Center and warns the unsatisfactory employees of the executive discipline.
