Tasks of the department:

In accordance with the decision No. 438 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 28, 2019 "On the establishment of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics", the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel at the Samarkand Branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, decisions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Higher education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, science and ensuring the implementation of decisions and orders of the Board of the Ministry of Innovation, the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Charter of the TDIU Samarkand branch, decisions of the branch Council, orders of the branch director, as well as fundamental, practical and innovative research in the branch development, implementation of state scientific and technical programs and priority directions in the field of science and technology, coordination of innovative cooperation between higher education, science and industry, research in priority, promising and advanced scientific directions performs organizing activities.

• drawing up annual and prospective plans of scientific research work planned in branch faculties and departments, organizing their implementation, providing relevant practical and methodological assistance, supervising the preparation of reports based on established procedures;

• development and implementation of the strategy of providing faculties and departments with academic staff;

• to involve professors and teachers of the branch in researches based on foreign and state grants, economic contracts, to ensure that the scientific developments created in the departments are put into practice, and they actively participate in innovative cooperation;

• to develop plans for conducting scientific and practical conferences at the international and national level with the participation of professors and talented students at the branch and to ensure that they are held at a high level;

• organization of basic doctoral studies and admission process for independent research in the branch, approval of personal work plans of researchers and regular monitoring of their implementation;

• to prepare basic doctoral students for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan scholarship competitions and ensure their active participation.

• supervising and monitoring the implementation of the scientific research work plan defined in the personal work plan of the professors and teachers of the institute.
