DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, TAXES AND BANKING
The activities of the department are carried out in accordance with long-term and current (annual) plans, covering educational, scientific-methodological, scientific-research, spiritual-ethical and educational and organizational-methodological work.
The main activities of the department are:
- training of highly qualified and competitive people who meet high moral and ethical requirements at the level of developed democratic countries;
- regular conduct and improvement of comparative analysis of state educational standards, qualification requirements, curricula and programs in the areas and specialties of the department with educational programs of developed foreign countries;
- development of educational programs in the subjects of the department and submission of them for approval in the prescribed manner, as well as preparation of reviews and opinions on educational programs prepared by related departments;
- preparation of textbooks, educational, methodological and demonstration aids, reissues of textbooks, teaching aids and educational literature, including literature summaries created in collaboration with foreign scientists;
- types of training specified in the curricula of higher education in accordance with state educational standards for forms of training (in cases of separation from work and without separation from production) at a high theoretical, scientific, methodological and professional level of transmission, ensuring the quality of education;
- management of students’ qualifying practice, course projects (works), diploma qualification theses, master’s theses, as well as independent work and research work;
- monitoring students’ knowledge, organizing students’ activities outside the classroom;
- selection of talented students and their training, preparation for participation in olympiads and competitions, including the competition of the El-Yurt Umid Foundation, taking measures to improve the forms and methods of students’ independent work;
- organizing the scientific and creative activities of students on a systematic basis, attracting talented students to scientific work, training in carrying out research work individually and in a team, the necessary organizational, methodological and material and technical conditions for the implementation of their scientific and creative activities. activity-creating conditions;
- carry out research work in accordance with the approved plan, discuss completed research work, recommend their publication and introduce their results into production, ensure effective integration of education, science and production;
- consideration of the educational, scientific-methodological, scientific-research, “master’s”, spiritual-educational and organizational-methodological work of the department’s teachers in their personal work plans, studying the activities of experienced teachers, organizing work aimed at studying, generalizing and popularizing best practices;
- introduction of modern pedagogical and information and communication technologies, assistance to young teachers who have begun teaching activities in acquiring pedagogical qualifications and skills, creating an information base, using modern educational and technical means in classes, establishing the effective use of individual training. and independent teaching methods, organize training in special classrooms equipped with modern computer technology, develop elements of distance education;
- training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, discussion of doctoral dissertations at scientific seminars in the specialty of the department or related specialties, participation in expert groups to determine the compliance of educational documents with standard requirements;
- establishing contacts with manufacturing enterprises and other farms in order to attract extra-budgetary funds, as well as providing scientific and technical assistance;
- organizing regular contacts with graduates of a higher educational institution and with those who are basic doctoral students, doctoral students and independent researchers on the issues of obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science at this department, monitoring graduates;
- carrying out activities aimed at improving the qualifications of specialists in the specialty of the department, developing a system for providing educational services;
- development of cooperative relations in the field of education with foreign educational institutions;
- taking into account the interests of students, organizing master classes in various subjects, areas and specializations, types of professions and holding events aimed at engaging in useful work;
- Constant replenishment of the industry information and resource center with new educational, scientific, technical and periodical literature related to educational areas and specialties of the department. Constant monitoring of updates.
The department includes “Fundamentals of Finance”, “Corporate Finance”, “Introduction to Taxation”, “Commercial Banking”, “Banking Risk Management”, “International Banking and Finance”, “Investments”, “Taxes and Taxation”, “Insurance” " “.The educational, methodological, scientific-methodological, research work under the “Master-Apprentice” program has been increased.
In total, the department employs 1 doctor of science, professor, 5 candidates of science (PhD), associate professors, 2 senior teachers and 8 assistants without academic degrees.
There are also clubs “Tax Scientists”, “Financier”, and a scientific club “Innovative and Digital Banking and Financial Services”.
To date, the department has published 5 textbooks, 11 teaching aids, 3 teaching aids, 31 methodological instructions, 8 monographs, as well as 57 articles in domestic journals and 69 articles in foreign journals recognized by the OAC.
