The Department of "Natural, Social Sciences and Physical Culture" of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics held a spiritual and educational meeting with graduate students on "Extremism - a threat to the future of youth." The head of the department, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Ph.D. in History, U.Khudayarov, Associate Professor Z.Bobomurodov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor, S.Abdivahidov took part in it with their reports. The main purpose of the event is to ensure that people of different religions live together in peace and harmony in our country as children of one family. Today, our state creates all conditions for our youth. We have a lot of inquisitive and talented young people. They have been justifying the confidence of our state in international Olympics and sports arenas.

It should be noted that today extremist movements under the guise of Islam are trying to poison the minds of our youth.

This is a threat not only to our youth, but also to our independence. We need to be on guard against such alien ideas and not be indifferent to what is happening around us. It is necessary to pay attention to the effective organization of leisure time of our youth in the family, at school, in universities, to involve them in useful activities, to teach professors and students the concept of religious extremism, its causes and today comments were made on the work being done to prevent the negative.
