The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On further improving the provision of information and library services to the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan" designates May 21 as the Day of Librarians in the Republic. In this regard, the staff of the Samarkand Branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics and a group of talented students used an unusual way of congratulating librarians. They held another reading event at the 30th secondary school in Samarkand.

First, the head of the Department of Education Quality Control IM Ganiev and 3rd year student I. Berdiyorova acquainted the audience with information about the branch, the life of students in it. Then Jamila Islamova, Director of the Information Resource Center of TDIUSF, and Nodira Nurmuradova, Director of the IRC of School No. 30 in Samarkand, opened the reading event.

The keynote speaker Parizod Akhtamova, a third-year student of the Branch, presented to the participants the main content of Paulo Coelho's "Al-Khimogar", selected for today's reading. Then the participants of the event discussed in detail the book, the main conclusions to be drawn from it. Those who did not read the book were advised to read it and draw much conclusions from it.

In addition to the above, the press secretary of TDIUSF P. Amriddinova, talented students - J. Usmonkulov, A. Khurramov, N. Karshibaeva, A. Nasrullaev, R. Abdunabiev, Z. Nurmatova, U. Sobirov, M. Abdrimova, D. .Amonova, as well as IRC staff and teachers of school 30 and 10 "A" class students R.Mamadiyeva, L.Sadullayev, 11 "B" -class student A.Rasulmahmedov took an active part.

During the event, schoolchildren were invited to get acquainted with the activities of the Branch, the educational process in it, as well as to participate directly in the next reading events with students. The staff of the library was presented with the main gift - books by the Branch TSNQB, which was held on the occasion of the holiday.
