On May 10, 2022 students of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics "Agribusiness and investment activity" with new innovative plants and technologies under the guidance of the assistant of the department "Food and Agriculture" O.Muydinov on the subject "Innovative activity in agribusiness" In order to get acquainted, he visited the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

The guests were welcomed by Anvar Shamsiev, Doctor of Philosophy in Agriculture. First, A. Shamsiyev presented a new exhibition of innovative plants, which is being conducted at the Samarkand branch of TSUE.

After that, the branch introduced the agricultural units created by scientists.

New innovative Pavlonia tree, biohumus cultivation technology, “Innovative resource-saving small indoor field” startup projects aroused great interest among students.

After that, he was introduced to the sweet potato seedlings grown in the greenhouse. This plant is one of the most non-traditional fruit crops in Uzbek agriculture and has aroused great interest among students. Originally from South America, the sweet potato is now popular in Asian countries such as China, South Korea and Japan.

The students also got acquainted with the research carried out in the laboratory of biological control of plant pests.

The branch produces dairy products by processing 1,000 liters of milk per day using milk processing technology imported from Germany.

At the end of the visit, the branches agreed on future research.
