"Life is more important than speed" was held on April 22 at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics in collaboration with professors and students in coordination with the Department of Traffic Safety of the city of Samarkand. and "Safety Belt - The Pledge of Life."
The event was opened by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the branch F. Akhrorov, who introduced the participants to the agenda.
After that, the floor was given to the head of the department of traffic safety of the city of Samarkand, Lieutenant Colonel ZT Akhmedov.

Lt. Col. ZT Akhmedov, Head of the Traffic Safety Department for Coordination of the Activities of the Internal Affairs Bodies in Samarkand, spoke at the event. According to him:
Carriage of goods in cars is allowed if the height of the cargo in the trunk mounted on their roof is not more than 1 meter (except for the transport of bicycles with special devices) and the length does not exceed 0.5 meters from the dimensions of the car;
trucks, except in some cases, must move only on the right side of the road;
Prohibition of stopping vehicles at turning points and before or after 30 meters;
in the dark of the day and in insufficiently visible conditions, cyclists traveling on the carriageway without a bicycle lane were given the notion that they should wear a reflective jacket or outerwear with reflective elements.

After that, the questions asked by students were answered in full by traffic police officers who coordinate the activities of law enforcement agencies in Samarkand.
After a lively question and answer session, the head of the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics Y.Yu. Isomiddinov thanked the participants and said that such meetings should be held regularly at the branch. stressed that it would not be without benefits.
