     The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education is expected to approve the selection criteria for incentives of up to 50% in addition to scholarships for students with special abilities and talents, which will be posted on the portal for discussion of draft regulations.

    According to it, students' talents and abilities are evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:

    - For the publication of articles in national and international scientific journals during his studies at the institution of higher education;

    - for the fact that his innovative solutions and developments were nominated and awarded as various grants;

    - for proposed (participating) startup projects;

    - for participation in the creation of intellectual property, including industrial property;

    - Participation in international and national individual and team sports competitions, contests, science Olympiads and one of the prizes;

    - for achievements in the field of information and communication technologies, including the development of software products, web applications, etc .;

    - for his contribution to the recognition of the higher education institution where he studies in the country.

    "Students who are eligible for financial incentives may be rewarded if they meet any of these criteria," the draft said.

    - It should be noted that according to the current procedure, undergraduate and graduate students, who are the leaders of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, are paid a monthly surcharge of five times the basic scholarship.

    - Children deprived of parental care are paid a monthly surcharge of 50% of the basic stipend, regardless of the level of education and mastery.
