A roundtable discussion on combating corruption was organized at the Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE). The event was attended by M.A. Karimov, the head of the Department of Management of the "Compliance Control" system of the Tashkent State University of Economics, and A. Eshnazarov, the head of the Department of Working with Regional Educational Institutions of TSUE.

During the roundtable discussion, a comprehensive understanding of corruption and its causes, consequences, and prevention measures was provided. The participants of the event, that is, branch employees and professors, were given detailed instructions on how to avoid corruption and how to conduct the admission processes for the 2024-2025 academic year in a fair and transparent manner.

Also, during the conversation, further development of cooperation between TSUE and the branch in the next academic year, ensuring the active participation of branch students in various contests and competitions at the international and national level, significantly increasing participation in scientific and practical conferences, improving the quality of education, opinions were heard on improving developments in the educational and methodological field and providing educational literature and increasing the effectiveness of tutors' activities.

This roundtable discussion was an important step aimed not only at fighting corruption, but also at strengthening cooperation between the university and the branch, improving the quality of education, and supporting the scientific and practical activities of students.
