Press release on cooperation between Samarkand Branch of Tashkent State University of Economics and Liaoning Petrochemical University of China

On June 13, 2024, a memorandum on international cooperation was signed between the Samarkand Branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics and Liaoning Petrochemical University in China. Liaoning University of Petroleum and Chemistry is a multi-disciplinary university specializing in the field of petroleum and petrochemicals. It has established long-term cooperation with 47 universities and research institutes from more than 17 countries, such as the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Japan, Finland, Greece and South Korea.

Qian Jianhua - Rector
Pan Yi is the Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering
Li Huipeng - Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Kong Xianming is the deputy head of the International Relations Department
Yang Qian is the director of the Department of Russian Language Teaching and Research at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

Cooperation between TDIUSF and LNPU includes:
TDIUSF undergraduate students exchange and study at LNPU to earn dual degrees in related fields.
TDIUSF undergraduate students pursue graduate studies at LNPU.
Graduates of LNPU apply to graduate programs at TDIUSF.

It was agreed to implement educational and scientific exchange programs between professors and teachers of the two partner universities.

Academic exchanges, joint organization of scientific conferences and scientific research cooperation are carried out.
TDIUSF students go to LNPU to study the Chinese language program.

Through this partnership, the ties between TDIUSF and LNPU will be further strengthened and students will have the opportunity to study at an international level. Both sides expressed satisfaction with this agreement and noted that they intend to further develop cooperation in the future.
