On May 6-7 this year, the 2nd international scientific-practical conference on "Stable regional development in Central Asia" was held at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.

At the conference, university rector T. Teshabaev, TDIU Samarkand branch director O. During the conference, Professor Hans Westlund, Doctor of the Royal Swedish Institute of Technology, Andrea Caragliu, Professor of the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, Tomas Dentinho, Director of the Regional Development Association of Portugal, Eduardo Haddad, Professor of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, Neil Red, Professor of the University of Toledo, USA, and other distinguished guests spoke about economic geography. , regional development, political economy, digital economy, sustainable development, green economy, seminars and lectures were organized.

On the second day of the conference, lectures containing international level scientific research and research were continued in plenary sessions, and a number of practical issues were discussed with the participation of foreign experts.
