About the scientific-practical conference on the topic "Digital technologies in the sustainable development of the economy: problems, innovation and solutions"

In order to ensure the implementation of the decision PQ-200 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to effectively organize state management in the field of higher education, science and innovation within the framework of administrative reforms" dated July 4, 2023, on April 18-19, 2024, Tashkent state The republican scientific-practical conference on the topic "Digital technologies in the sustainable development of the economy: problems, innovation and solutions" was held at the Samarkand branch of the University of Economics.

The opening of the conference began with the opening speech of the director of TDIU Samarkand branch, professor O. Murtazayev. O.Murtazayev noted the relevance of the issues planned to be discussed in the program of the conference and their practical importance and wished success to the participants of the conference.

At the main plenary meeting, participants listened to lectures in the following areas:

Ø Transformation of economic processes and financial relations in the context of digitalization of the economy;

Ø Digital technologies and solutions in the digital economy;

Ø Development of digital skills of business and entrepreneurship;

Ø Artificial intelligence, robotization, IoT and smart technologies in the sustainable development of the digital economy;

Ø Information technology, neural networks, modeling and big database analysis in the digital economy;

Ø Innovative approaches to the sustainable development of the green economy;

Ø Legal foundations of sustainable development of society in the digital economy: current situation and development prospects.

Foreign specialists, 60 participants from dozens of higher education institutions and partner organizations operating in our republic took part in the opening of the conference. In addition, online lectures were discussed through the ZOOM platform.

The conference continued its work on April 19, and the lectures included in the program were heard and discussed.

More than 100 reports were discussed at the conference. Those who spoke at the end of the conference noted that this event was organized at a high level and the participation of foreign scientists further increased its prestige.

Most of our doctoral students, independent researchers, master's students and talented students who participated in this conference with their lectures spoke in English as a bright result of our state's attention to young people and opportunities created.

The participants of the conference expressed suggestions and recommendations on the discussed topics.

Speaking at the closing of the conference, Deputy Director of TDIU Samarkand branch for scientific affairs and innovations Z.Kh Abdullayev once again emphasized that the discussed articles are dedicated to the active use and solution of digital technologies in all spheres of our lives today.
