The project is headed by Professor Praveen B. Malla of the Department of "Digital Economy and Information Technologies". The administrative support of the project is carried out by Zafar Abdullayev, the deputy director of the university for scientific affairs and innovations. What is ORCID?
ORCID, or Open Researcher and Contributor ID, is a private number system for researchers, scientific authors, and other individuals engaged in scientific activities. These figures help to illuminate, identify and integrate their scientific activities.

The ORCID system is a database established in 2012. Its main goal is to cover scientific activities in a clear and universal way by providing private numbers for scientific authors and researchers. These numbers are used in scientific journals, conferences, finding applications for grants and exchanging information for other scientific activities.

By using ORCID private numbers, researchers will be able to digitize their scientific activities, identify them on other platforms, facilitate learning and integrate their data. These numbers are used in scientific journals, conferences, finding applications for grants and exchanging information for other scientific activities.
