A roundtable discussion was organized at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics under the slogan "Let's protect the Earth".

Dedicated to the issues of ecology, environmental protection and climate change approved by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-171 of May 31, 2023 "On measures to effectively organize the activities of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change" in accordance with paragraph 4 of the calendar plan of events held on important dates, the "Earth Day" will be celebrated in our republic on March 20, 2024, and the "World Meteorology Day" will be celebrated in our republic on March 23, 2024, according to paragraph 5.

In this regard, TDIU Samarkand branch will hold events and campaigns aimed at protecting the earth under the slogan "Let's protect the Earth", roundtable discussions aimed at increasing the knowledge of young people in the field of meteorology.

On March 26, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., the next "Let's save the planet" of the student science club "ECOLOGY AND GREEN ECONOMY" will be held at the branch activists' hall under the "Natural, social sciences and physical culture" and "Green economy and sustainable business" departments. A roundtable discussion aimed at increasing the knowledge of young people in the field of meteorology was held under the slogan of earth protection.

At the roundtable discussion, the chairman of the "ECOLOGY AND GREEN ECONOMY" student science club, associate professor Z.S. Bobomuradov made a controversial speech at the roundtable discussion under the slogan "Let's protect the Earth."
