The event "Prevention of the distribution of psychotropic substances among young people" was held at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics
February of this year has been declared as preventive month "Prevention of distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances among young people" in our country. In this regard, on February 6 of this year, an event on "Prevention of the distribution of psychotropic substances among young people" was held in the branch.
D. Shodmonov, the prevention inspector attached to the branch, L. Eshonkulov, the deputy dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, N. Ashirbayeva, the educational consultant, and the students of the 3rd year group BH-121, BH-221, BH-321 took part in the event. .
The main purpose of organizing the event was to provide students with information about the negative consequences of addiction to psychotropic substances, moral and material damages, as well as criminal liability established by law. Prevention inspector D.Shodmonov gave information about psychotropic drugs and gave detailed explanations about the factors, processes and consequences of falling under their influence. Also, drugs included in the list of psychotropic, narcotic and intoxicating agents were introduced, and the responsibilities established for their cultivation, storage and distribution without appropriate permits were introduced. Information was provided on the stages and methods of treatment of a person addicted to psychotropic substances. During the event, the negative impact of this disease not only on the physical and mental condition of a person, but also on the life of the society was emphasized.
