The contest "Student of the Year 2023" will be held among the students of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
​In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks specified in the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to increase the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work in the education system" dated September 17, 2018 No. 736, the state of Tashkent "Student of the Year 2023" competition will be held among the students of the Samarkand branch of the University of Economics.

"Student of the Year" competition will be held in November 2023 in order to support students who have achieved great achievements in science and public affairs, create opportunities for them to show their talents, motivate them materially and morally, and increase the prestige of students. will be held.

The competition will be held in the following nominations:

1. "The most knowledgeable student of the year in his specialty" in which the student's mastery of subjects and participation and activity in educational processes, published articles and theses, as well as their content and relevance are considered;

2. "The most active propagandist student of the year" in which the student's practical participation in the public works of the higher educational institution and other public organizations, the level of activity, exemplary work as a propagandist, organizational skills and the content of the events organized by him on this basis , the achievements are reviewed;

3. "The most active inventor-innovator student of the year" in which the scientific works, inventions, innovative ideas, rationalization proposals created by the student this year, their novelty, relevance and scientific significance are considered;

4. "The most active athlete student of the year" in which the student's achievements and results in international and republican sports competitions held this year are reviewed;

5. "The most active and talented student of the year" (painting, graphics, design, applied art, sculpture), in which the student's creative works, achievements, and participation in various contests and exhibitions. will be considered.

6. "The most active creative student of the year" in which the student's interests in the field of creative works of art, articles, brochures published in the current year, books, music, cinema and theater, as well as spiritual-educational, scientific-creative processes. participation and achievements are reviewed.

7. "The most active entrepreneurial student of the year" (for women) will consider the achievements of female students who have started their own business this year, as well as the level of employment of young people.

The winners and prize-winners who took the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the above nominations will receive a certificate of honor from a higher educational institution, and

  1st place winner 8 times the amount of base calculation,

  2nd place winner is 6 times the amount of base calculation

  The 3rd place winner is 4 times the amount of the base calculation

will be financially encouraged. Also, the winners of 7 nominations are recommended for the Republican stage.

Students studying in a higher educational institution in the form of full-time education (without academic leave) can take part in the competition. My student who participated in this competition in previous years and won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will not be allowed to participate again.

  2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students who want to participate in the competition are asked to submit their documents to room 205 of building "A" by November 15 of this year.
 

NOTE: The following documents are submitted by the student to the selection committee of the higher education institution:

- a presentation of no more than two pages containing information about the participant's abilities, level of mastery of subjects, leadership skills, achievements, active participation in classes, role models for students, and activities in public affairs;

  - copies of documents (grade record sheets, student's grade mastering test book) showing the results of the subject mastery of the participant of the competition; the published scientific, scientific-methodical, creative works of the competition participant, together with reviews received from relevant experts, and the electronic form of creative works;

- information on the awarding of honors and diplomas at international and national events and competitions (copies are attached);

- the certificate of participation in grants, the name of the grant, the volume of financing, the form and level of participation are indicated;

- information about participation in conferences, a list of scientific works and copies of scientific works are provided as an attachment;

- the materials and information included in the set of documents must have been published during the current year.
