An event on "Crime prevention among young people" was organized at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
On July 31 of this year, an event was organized on the topic "Criminal prevention among young people" in the information resource center of Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics. Professors and students, tutors and students took part in the event.
Speaking at the event, the deputy director Kh. I. Turdibekov introduced the analytical information provided by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyov at the expanded board meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on July 28, 2023 in Fergana. In particular, it was noted at the meeting that every third person who commits a crime is made up of young people. 32% of crimes committed by them are theft and fraud. Every seventh youth crime is committed as part of a group, 1,100 young people repeatedly commit crimes. Speaking about administrative offenses committed by young students, their legal consequences, any illegal behavior gave a series of information based on specific examples about the inevitability of responsibility to the person who committed it, regardless of age and social origin.
G. Gurbanov, the advisor to the director of TDIU SF, who is responsible for ensuring the stability of the social and spiritual environment among students, today provides all the conditions for the youth to be fully supported and matured by the state. - that the conditions are being created. that it is up to everyone to use the opportunities wisely and to get full knowledge, that there are also cases of young people taking a wrong step without knowing it and eventually becoming a slave, and that the general public is also involved in the education of young people emphasized the need for involvement.
During the meeting, A. Akhmedov, the head of the department of management of the "Compliance control" system for combating corruption, gave information to students on how to be aware of threats on the Internet and modern threats. Questions of interest to students were explained.
