On March 27, 2023, an event was held at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics under the slogan "We are not indifferent to the future of our country." More than 950 students, professors, teachers and educational consultants of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics took part in it. Branch director O. Murtazayev, first deputy director for youth issues and spiritual education Kh. I. Turdibekov, head of the department of natural, social and physical culture U. Khudayarov, teacher of the department of natural, social and physical culture S. Abduvokhidov, food and S. Fazliyev, a teacher of the Department of Agricultural Economics, and his students spoke and talked about the essence of our Constitution and the importance of the referendum. During the lecture, they mentioned that the articles 50, 51, 52 and 53 of the updated Constitution grant academic freedom to education, especially higher education, freedom of self-management, research and teaching. It was also touched on the protection of the honor and dignity of state teachers, their social and material well-being, and the freedom of scientific, technical and artistic creation to everyone.
After their lectures, the speakers called on everyone who is not indifferent to their future to take an active part in the Referendum held on April 30 on the Constitution bill. This event, which was accompanied by songs in the spirit of patriotism, shared a good mood with everyone.
