An artistic evening dedicated to the birthday of our great ancestors was also organized at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
The 582nd anniversary of Alisher Navoi, the great poet and thinker, the sultan of the ghazal estate, and the 540th anniversary of the king, poet and general Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur were celebrated at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
On February 10, 2023, the literary and artistic event dedicated to the 582nd anniversary of the birth of Mir Alisher Navoi and the 540th anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was opened by the director of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics, professor Olim Murtazayev, and the great poets, thinkers, famous state and public figures the invaluable creative and scientific heritage of not only our people, but also the history of world literature, the development of our national culture and literary-aesthetic thinking, our great poets in their poetic and prose works have high universal ideas, the incomparable vocabulary and limitless possibilities of expression of our mother tongue with all its charm and elegance and emphasized that it occupies a worthy and strong place in the hearts of millions of readers on earth.
During the spiritual and educational evening, a competition was held among talented students on the life and work of scholars. In this competition, students showed how much they know the works of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur based on 4 conditions. According to the end of the competition, the 1st place was won by the "Mozidan Sado" team, and the 2nd place was won by the "Avlodlar Dovani" team. Students who actively participated in the event were duly awarded with certificates and books. The event dedicated to the 582nd anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi and the 540th anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, organized by the professors and teachers of the "Languages" department, serves as an important factor in the development of intelligent and knowledgeable specialists and perfect people.
