Students of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics planted fruit tree seedlings as part of the "Green Space" initiative.
"Green space" is not only planting millions of trees, but also planting and caring for the right place.
In support of the nationwide project "Green space" promoted by the initiative of the President of our country Sh.M.Mirziyoev, students of TSUE Samarkand branch AE 122 group are organizing special tree planting works to contribute to this project. In particular, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Based on the priorities set at the meeting of video selectors held on November 2, 2021 under the chairmanship of Mirziyoyev, based on the nationwide project "Green Space" in our country, on November 28 of this year, Tashkent State University of Economics, Samarkand Branch "Food and Agricultural Economics 300 fruit tree saplings (300 apricots) were planted in the area of ​​the "Aq-Qoradaryo" water dam in the middle Zarafshon tract belonging to the Zarafshon highway system department together with professors and teachers of the department and students.
The trees were selected based on the climatic conditions of the area, considering the creation of gardens and landscaping. Now they are cared for according to agrotechnical requirements, fed with mineral and organic fertilizers, and protected from pests. We invite you all to participate and contribute to this project.
We remind you that implementation of the national project "Green Space" within the framework of this project will cost 200 million per year. Planting of trees and shrubs was planned. As a result of the implementation of such a large-scale initiative, the area of ​​green spaces in our cities will be increased from the current 8 percent to 30 percent.
