The ongoing seminar training on Global GAP standards within the framework of the "ERASMUS+" program AgroDev (Development of higher education aimed at supporting the stability of quality agricultural and food production industries) project at TDIU Samarkand branch ended today.
Seminar - on the next day of training "GLOBAL G.A.P." The participants of the seminar were given detailed information about the requirements, essence and relevance of the international standard. In particular, the advantages of putting this foreign standard into practice, as well as the importance of following the established norms in the processes of certification of this standard to producers and exporters of agricultural products, were highlighted. This standard is based on a number of principles of quality management, which include customer orientation, motivation and involvement of senior management, process approach and continuous improvement of quality management principles, and ensuring that customers receive high quality goods and services. , helps companies make profits.
Implementation of this standard is important for further increasing the export volume of agricultural products produced in Uzbekistan today, diversifying the foreign market and increasing the level of competitiveness. It also protects consumers from low-quality products that do not meet the requirements of interchangeability and flexibility, measurement methods, and placement rules that pose a threat to citizens' lives, health, and property, and harm the environment. .
In order to ensure the implementation of the Decision of the President of December 20, 2018 "On Measures to Support Export and Strengthen its Promotion", this standard will be widely taught in the educational process to future young personnel. It is important to train the staff to meet the requirements of the time.
 At the end of the seminar, certificates were handed over to all actively participating professors and teachers.
