At the initiative of the trade union, sports promoter and tutors of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics, a table tennis and badminton tournament dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8 was held among professors, teachers, staff and women sports competitions were held on March 2-3. The competition was controversial and interesting. Our female students studying at our branch took part in sports competitions in badminton, 22 students in 22 table tennis. Participants who took the honorary 1-2-3 places in this competition were awarded with cash prizes determined by the branch administration.
