The Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics also has a joint educational program with the Latvian University of Applied Sciences and Technology. Currently, 23 students are studying in the field of "Information Systems and Technologies" (by industry and industry).

The branch organized an online meeting with professors and teachers of partner universities in the joint educational program. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Aigars Laizans, Head of the Center for International Cooperation Voldemars Bariss, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology Jekaterina Smirnova and others. SBTSUE was attended by Deputy Director for Education Farhod Ahrorov, Head of International Cooperation Hamid Turaev, Department of Joint Education Programs and students of the joint program.

It can be said that the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere. Students received answers to their questions. It was agreed that the joint program will allow our students to study online, improve the curriculum, improve the quality of lessons, and hold regular online classes on specialty subjects by potential professors and teachers of the partner university.
