Based on the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 16 dated January 18, 2024, we inform you that an international scientific and practical conference will be held at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
The 2nd International Scientific Conference on Sustainable Regional Development in Central Asia will be organized in cooperation with the International Association of Regional Sciences (RSAI-Portugal) and the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics. During the conference, seminar trainings and lectures are organized by distinguished guests as Professor Hans Westlund, Doctor of the Swedish KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Andrea Caragliu, Professor of the Milan Polytechnic University of Italy, Tomás Dentinho, Director of the Regional Development Association of Portugal, Eduardo Haddad, Professor of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, Neil Red, Professor of the University of Toledo, USA, in such areas as economic geography, regional development, political economy, digital economy, sustainable development, green economy. The main purpose of the conference is to develop cooperation between young and highly experienced scientists who are just entering the world of science in order to discuss the problems facing modern sciences and find solutions to them. The participation of young scientists in the conference will be fully supported by the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics, and all conditions will be created for face-to-face exchange of ideas with influential scientists. Among the articles submitted for this conference, the best ones will be selected by a committee of highly respected scientists and will be published in a journal included in the Q2 quartile of the Scopus database.
Researchers are invited to participate in the conference by presenting their scientific work (abstract or full article, thesis). It's recommended to use statistical analysis, linear programming, graphical visualization, correlation regression analysis, time series analysis, network analysis, neural networks or other modern research methods and following the IMRAD (Introduction, Methodology, Results and Analysis, Discussion) structure.
