In order to ensure the implementation of this task, the Ministry of Digital Technologies created an opportunity for young people to use the online educational resources of the American company "Coursera" through the https://uzbekcoders.uz platform of the "One Million Developers" project.
Within the framework of this project, in 2023-2025, 1.2 mln. it is planned to teach young people free of charge online courses in 8 areas, and IT-Park plans to purchase a total of 10,000 licenses that allow the use of all content.
For information: Coursera certificates are recognized all over the world and allow young people to get high-paying jobs and earn extra income.
Also, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to support young professionals with international IT certificates" dated May 19, 2021 No. 310, up to 50 percent of the costs of obtaining international IT certificates for young people the procedure for issuing cover was introduced and the "List of International IT-certificates" was approved.
PROCEDURE for reimbursing up to 50% of the expenses of young people with international IT certificates and their expenses for obtaining international IT certificates
1. After receiving the international IT certificate, the applicant registers and submits an application through the https://my.gov.uz/ru/service/622 portal (within 180 calendar days from the date of issuance of the certificate);
2. The working body reviews the applicant's application and documents and verifies the international IT certificate provided by the applicant;
3. The working body summarizes the applicant's documents and submits proposals for financing to the authorized body for agreement;
4. If the validity of the international IT-certificate is not confirmed, it will send a message about this to the applicant through the https://my.gov.uz portal;
5. Proposals made by the authorized body regarding the financing of expenses are agreed upon;
6. The working body directs the funds to the account specified by the applicant.
Reimbursement criteria for the level of international IT certificate: initial - 30%; medium - 40% and professional - 50%.
