At the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics, a seminar-training was organized for students of the IV stage of "Agribusiness and investment activities".
On October 17 of this year, at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics, within the framework of the "ERASMUS+" program AgroDev (Development of higher education aimed at supporting the stability of quality agriculture and food industry) project, Agrobusiness according to Global GAP standards and a seminar-training was organized for students of the 4th stage of investment activity.
Students were given detailed information about the requirements, essence and relevance of the international standard. In particular, the advantages of implementing this foreign standard and the importance of compliance with the norms established in the certification processes of this standard for producers and exporters of agricultural products were emphasized. This standard is based on a number of principles of quality management, which are customer orientation, motivation and involvement of top management, process approach and continuous improvement of quality management principles and ensuring that customers receive high quality goods and services. , helps companies make profits.
The introduction of this standard is of great importance in further increasing the export volume of agricultural products grown in Uzbekistan today, diversifying the foreign market and increasing the level of competitiveness. It also protects consumers from low-quality products that do not meet the requirements of interchangeability and flexibility, measurement methods, placement rules, threaten the life, health and property of citizens, and harm the environment.
