The branch team visited the Dabas Gardumi berry processing plant.
At the very edge of the Marupe region, surrounded by forest, away from highways and city noise, is the DABAS GARDUMI biological farm.
This farm has been operating since 2006 as a Liepsalas livestock enterprise.
Since the beginning of 2015, the company has successfully processed fruits and berries, and now, in addition to agricultural production, also earns income from agritourism.
Due to the growing demand for the products, since 2016, the farm has been producing ice cream, dried fruits, juice, honey, jam and other similar delicacies from naturally grown fruits and berries.
