The 2022 Mendeleev International Prize in Fundamental Sciences of UNESCO and the Russian government is being announced. The main purpose of this award is to promote and encourage the scientific results of two scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of fundamental sciences such as chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology, which are important for innovation and sustainable development, and have innovative and brilliant discoveries. The Mendeleev International Prize in Fundamental Sciences from UNESCO and the Russian government is worth $ 500,000, will be divided equally between the two winners and will be awarded a gold medal and a diploma. Eligible nominees will be selected by the Director-General of UNESCO on the basis of an evaluation and recommendation by an international panel. To participate in the competition, you need to register online at https://bit.ly/3Ifwn7n and fill out the application forms in English or French. Information on the proposed candidate must be submitted to the Secretariat of the National Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for UNESCO. To participate in the competition, candidates must submit their documents online by March 15, 2022. The nomination of female scientists to participate in the competition is encouraged.
