On additional measures to ensure the academic and organizational-managerial independence of public higher education institutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 24, 2021 (https://lex.uz/pdfs/ 5793261) ”PQ-60 Tashkent State University of Economics announces a competition for a basic doctorate (PhD) through the allocation of grants from extra-budgetary funds.

   Training of applicants is organized on a contractual basis, they are paid a monthly stipend in the prescribed manner.

Basic requirements for applicants:

 obtain a PhD degree in three years;

 at least 5 (five) years of continuous scientific and pedagogical activity at the university in the main state after the end of the study period (employment at the university).
If an applicant does not receive a PhD within three years of study, he or she is obliged to reimburse the university in full for all expenses incurred by the university.
Application for basic doctoral (PhD) application, brief biographical reference, duly certified copy of employment history (for working applicants), master's degree of the higher education institution and its appendices, list of published scientific works, as well as their copies, scientific apply with a letter of consent from the consultant.
The information will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan http://phd.mininnovation.uz/ and the originals will be accepted in the Department of Research and Innovation. The examination process is organized in two stages, during which applicants take a test on the specialty and a foreign language, as well as an oral interview. Candidates who pass the exams will start their studies from March 1 by the order of the rector in accordance with the decision of the university council.
Applications will be accepted from January 25 to February 15, 2022.
