The American Council on International Education is going to hold a major international competition for students of Uzbekistan on English spelling.

No. 20/27646 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 31, 2022 and No. 22-260 of August 8, 2022 and No. 22 of the American Council on International Education in Uzbekistan dated August 30, 2022 According to letter No. 326, in September-October 2022, it is planned to hold a republican contest on English spelling ("SpellingBee") among students of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan. The Ministry believes that the holding of this competition serves to improve students' knowledge of the English language, as well as the PQ- believes that it meets the goals and objectives arising from the decision No. 5117. This English spelling competition ("Spelling Bee") is all about pronouncing English words.

Only undergraduate students between the ages of 18 and 25 will participate in the competition. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the Central Asian competition to be held in Tashkent in November 2022 and defend the honor of Uzbekistan.
