The Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics announces admission to the basic doctoral studies (PhD) and research intern for 2024!

In accordance with the Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017 "On further improvement of the post-university education system", the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics for 2024 offers the following specializations for basic doctoral studies (PhD) and intern research announces a contest for:
 

Candidates who meet the following requirements for basic doctoral studies and trainee research can submit documents:
- those who have a master's degree or a diploma of higher education (on specialized programs);
- B2 level national or equivalent international certificate (for basic doctoral students);
- those who have scientific results that can form the basis of dissertation research for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), including at least one article published in scientific journals and abstracts of lectures included in no less than two collections of scientific works in relevant fields;
- the applicant's basic specialty must be in accordance with the subject branch of the post-secondary education institution.

Documents will be accepted from September 15 to October 15, 2023.

Applicants for basic doctoral studies and research trainees register online at http://phd.mininnovation.uz/ using the following documents:
- application;
- brief biographical information;
- identity document (Passport or ID card);
- a certified copy of the labor record book (for working applicants);
- B2 level national or equivalent international certificate (for basic doctoral studies);
- a copy of a master's degree of a higher educational institution or a diploma of higher education (on specialized programs) (together with an attachment);
- a list of published scientific works, as well as their copies (it is required to have at least one article published in scientific journals that can form the basis of the dissertation research, as well as lecture abstracts included in no less than two collections of scientific works in relevant fields);
- Holders of the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall submit a copy of the relevant document.
The entrance exams will be held between 1st November and 25th November 2023 and this date will be announced on the official website of the branch.
Applicants for basic doctoral studies take entrance exams in their specialty. Trainee researchers are interviewed by specialty. The exam in the specialty subject consists of the specialty subjects of the relevant specialty.
